Embedded Sales and Support
The key to selling successful, aside from making the actual sale, is providing aftercare and being able to help customers with license and installation issues if and when these arise.
Next to that, understanding the industry and tools the customer is using, makes sure that true “added value” is attained and is a big factor in binding the customer to your company and products.
It is hard to find the right people, who are willing and able to do the work on a ground level, chasing leads and helping out with license and installation issues.
The main reason for this is, because generally speaking, these people move up the ranks within their respective organisation ( or move away when it isn’t possible).
Although this is understandable, it does effectively mean that quality service is moving away from the customer, instead of towards them.
Hiring me as your “Embedded Sales & Support” -agent, is a step in the opposite direction and puts a highly capable and experienced person in the spot where it matters most, at your customers’ disposal.
The best way to describe this service, is that it is a mix of a regular employee, a freelancer and maybe even a bit of a reseller.
The “Embedded” part entails me having a mail account and access to the relevant functionalities within your internal CRM system.
This is so customers receive a mail from your company and I can provide basic information to the customer directly when asked, which is better for overall customer perception.
Although traveling for internal meetings, visit customers and to attend events is of course no problem, the daily work will mostly be done from my home office, which is based in the Netherlands.
I am available on a global region and their respective time-zones, but for obvious reasons Western and English speaking regions would be the most effective.
